Super dope week, my good friend Apollo Brown was in town for about a week. We hit up LPR in NYC to see the homie House Shoes spin with Rich Medina for him and Akalepse’s weekly called Props, checked out Pete Rock spinning a DJ set in the city, as well as hitting up Sirius XM this past Sunday for DJ Eclipse, Torae, and J57’s Rap Is Outta Control show. Also, kicked off me, Boogie Blind (X Ecutioners/Pharaoh Monch), and the homie Run P’s monthly in Bed Stuy Brooklyn this past Sunday, dope spot nice turn out. Now that the week has gotten under way it felt like a road trip was in order. So with that being said, I’m heading down to Philly tonight to check out the homie DJ Phsh spin with Rich Medina, Jazzy Jeff, J Rocc, Questlove, DJ Statik, and DJ Drama (???) Should be a dope night.

I haven’t blogged in an extremely long time so figured I would update very quickly: moved from Detroit MI to NYC, released a limited edition vinyl with Mello Music Group, sold out of previously mentioned vinyl in 24 hours on Fat Beats.com, did an interview with Sirius XM Rap Is Outta Control with Eclipse, Torae, and J57, did a mix for the Find Magazine out of the Netherlands, and typed this blog entry tonight, oh and I started working on a project that will be done very soon, featuring Guilty Simpson, Apollo Brown, Gensu Dean, Hassaan Mackey, Journalist 103, J57, Kaimbr, Sean Born, SlimKat78, Magestik Legend, Rashid Hadee, and more.

This photo was taken in Paris, France while I was dj’ing for the Mello Music Group European tour with Apollo Brown, Journalist 103, and Oddisee. A fan came to a show I was dj’ing at a few days following the Paris further on throughout the tour and gave me this photo, he also had me sign a copy in color for him to keep. He said he found the photo on the internet and printed it out, at the time I had no idea the photo existed.
